The Disciples
The Disciples, also known as the Apostles, were Jesus' closest and most loyal followers. Each one (with the exception of Matthias that we learned about here) was chosen specifically by Jesus. Over the course of the Summer we will be focusing on the disciples and learning about who they were, their lives, and their call to Jesus. This week will focus on an overview of the disciples and what we know about the disciples in general.

What does the word Disciple mean?
How many Disciples were there?
How long were the Disciples with Jesus?
Do you think that you would have been able to give up everything to follow Jesus?
How do you think a disciple acts?
We are wrapping up our unit, how has your perception of the disciples changed from the beginning to now?
Look back at your KWL from June 6th and revise the What you have Learned Section to include information you have learned.
