Today we continue learning about what happened between when Jesus rose and Jesus' Ascension. We will today discuss and learn about what the difference between believing by faith and believing by sight alone. This concept is embodied by one of Jesus' disciples, Thomas, commonly known as Doubting Thomas due to this very story.

Read John 20:19-29 (Jesus appears to Thomas) and try to answer the following questions

• Why were the disciples hiding in a locked room?

• What happened in the room?

• What was said to the disciples?

• Why didn’t Thomas believe the disciples when they said Jesus was alive?

• How did Thomas’ doubt become faith?

• What are some doubts you have had about God?

• How has God helped your faith to grow?

• What can we do when we feel doubts about God?
