Today we will be learning about what happened between Jesus' Ascension and Penacost Sunday (next week). We will discuss the concept of betrayal, what it means to be betrayed (as Jesus was by Judas) as well as the concept of waiting and the selection of a new Disciple / Apostle to replace Judas named Matthias.

What does it mean to betray a person?
What happens to the person who is betrayed?
What are some suggestions to help the person overcome being betrayed by someone?

Why is it important not to betray someone?
Think about an experience when you were betrayed by someone. How did it make you feel?
If this person was close to you, how do you think they felt afterwards?
Do you think that you could forgive them?
Do you think that Jesus forgave Judas?
Since Judas Iscariot was no longer with them, what did Peter ask the group to do?
