There is a great variety of species (or "races") that can be found and played in Legends of the Aether: Tykonia. Among them all, love flourishes.
*An old Thavàri word, introduced to Tykonia during the Karrimen migration. Used to refer to all sapient peoples without distinction. Subspecies are referred to as Kyndred, and are linked within each kynd's page.Half-species are known as Hafkynd, Partial Kynd, or Bastard Kynd."For they share many common genetic traits, all the species which are designated "Commonkynd" may intermix, resulting in the affixed Hafkynd. Inversely, those individuals with bestial qualities—such dubbed "Beastkynd"—are much more constrained in their genetic freedom, only allowed to intermingle among those most compatible."

Horc (generic term. orc genes are the dominant)
Helf (generic term. elf genes are the dominant)
Gnoblin (Gnome + Goblin. Weird fleshy green, very WIDE. Shorter, malformed ears)
Lizardkyn & Avian (results in a much more primordial dinosaur looking lizard. Much fattier compared to lizardkyn or avian.)
Fauns can intermix with Commonkynd for they share many common genetic traits. They will always have unguligrade legs and shorter horns.
Helivian hafkynd, in every sense, have a high infant mortality rate. They have shorter horns that follows the curve of the back of the occipital, weird canine-like jaws resulting in a very oblong face. They are always obligate carnivores, and it is a toss-up genetically if they have digitigrade or plantigrade legs.
Trolls cannot intermix between any other Kynd.
Cimex cannot intermix, nor have children regardless.
Vakesh can only have children with themselves.
Felvyrians cannot intermix.
