Exhibit 9

Lights off. Green on.

Revision

For this particular image I changed the background color to go from dark to light to create the image of turning off the light. I also used the feedback I received but changed it to by my own. Besides from the color, I also changed the figurines to fit better in the frame.

I kept all the same design elements from the previous picture.

Background:

I wanted to expand my horizons a little bit and create a poster for the environment. My portfolio is composed of mostly Instagram ads, sale flyers, and pictures that were enhanced for the portfolio. The idea behind this was a poster that could be placed around for getting people to gather and do better for the earth.

Design:

Contrast – I struggled with the contrast in this and wanted to keep it very minimalistic. The colors were simple and all within the range of the colors the earth showed.

Repetition – With repetition I separated the earth to create a nice follow of the image. I wanted to have the repetition not be completely clear but have it with similar objects. The people on top of the earth are on opposite sides and words are the same font. The sides of the earth are the same including the cuts.

Alignment – I aligned everything in the center besides the people on top of the earth. I wanted those to be off to the side to create contrast in the alignment.

Proximity – In proximity everything is centered and in close range to each other.
