Emerging Technology

Project Description

For my emerging technology I chose the PitchCom. The PitchCom has emerged recently in the MLB after the recent sign-stealing scandals. The PitchCom is a device used between the pitcher and catcher to communicate with each other about what pitch will be thrown. below is my powerpoint presentation about the pitchCom.

Lesson Learned

During this project, I learned about what an emerging technology is and what classifies an item as emerging. I also learned about the emerging technology of the past and how it has changed since it was first being made. Lastly, this project showed the amount of change that one piece of technology can make and change how something is done. An example would be PitchCom because it has modernized baseball causing a change in how baseball is played.
