For this project I had to find samples of each media types using creative commons and make sure to credit the work
I found this image by searching "Oriole's baseball" on the creative commons website.
I downloaded the large version from Flickr and then uploaded the image on my site.
The image is shared under the CC BY-SA 2.0 license so that means anyone can:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.
Under the following terms:
Attribution - You must give appropriate credit , provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made . You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
ShareAlike - If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
No additional restrictions - You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
The official credit to the creator with the link is below:
"Beautiful Night of Baseball at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, LA Angels of Anaheim 11, Baltimore Orioles 6, Baltimore, Maryland" by Ken Lund is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0.
This is an example of an animated baseball player I found on DeviantArt.
An animated gif is an image file that contains different frames of an image shown in sequence to simulate motion.
The animation GIF was saved from DeviantArt and uploaded straight on my website.
I could not find any licensing information or sharing limitations, so I will credit and link to the source and follow the TASL rule of thumb, which stands for Title, Author, Source, and License.
Title- Catch It!

License- Unkown- Fairuse
Video Sample- Youtube
This is an example of an embedded video.
This is a video on why setting goals is not the best thing to do because working for that goal could end up hurting your chance for the goal.
I embedded this from YouTube, which offered embed code, but there was no usage policy or licensing information.
According to the about page for TedTalks:
TED's videos may be used for non-commercial purposes under a Creative Commons License, Attribution–NonCommercial–No Derivatives (or the CC BY – NC – ND 4.0 International), and in accordance with our TED Talks Usage Policy.
I learned a lot during this project. I learned about the 4 different types of media. I really never thought about the differences between the media types. Also, I learned about Creative Commons which will help me in future assignments. Lastly, I learned how to correctly credit the media that I use in my assingments.
