I had to search for relevant cybersecurity articles in the news to identify the risks, threats, and vulnerabilities with computers while examining digital privacy.
I learned about all the issues in information security. I also learned new terms that I did not know about. I learned about phishing scams and spoofing. I also didn't know about Google News, which I will use for my future classes.

M&T Bank Hacked Causing Massive Data Breech
This article shares the hacking of M&T Bank that caused a massive cybersecurity breach making some customers' information stolen. The hacker gained unauthorized access to their customers' information causing some of their customers to have information stolen. They were hacked through a third-party company that they use for transferring files. Information stolen during the data breach includes names, addresses, and M&T account numbers. You can prevent unauthorized access by using two-step authentication, the company getting better security settings, and having strong passwords.

Microsoft hacked by Chinese
One of Microsoft's engineers got his account penetrated by the hacking group it dubs Storm-0558. The group allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of emails. Hackers extracted a cryptographic key from the engineer's account and used it to access email accounts they should not have had access to. The engineer's account was hit with a "token-stealing malware" stealing his login information to Microsoft's network. You could get an antivirus program that scans over the document and finds the malware.
