MULTI-BRAND RECYCLING & BIODIVERSITY in CHINA
Since the launch of employee recycling program, the Shanghai office has collected more than 1700 empties, inching towards their goal of 5000!
“OMNI-CHANNEL” RECYCLING in KOREA
On the “recycle day” in Korea, an innovative program worked with TerraCycle was launched to reach customers at their door to recycle empties.
Creation of L’OCCITANE Ecosystem Restoration Fund
We created a fund of 400k euro to support ecosystems that are severely affected by natural disasters, such as the devastating fires in the Amazon and Australia.
Green Reaction Exhibition @CHINA
In this exhibition, we invited our customers to get involved in our demonstration of brand commitment through 4 key themes [reduce], [recycle], [refill] and [reuse]. In partnership with Pur Project, L’Occitane China will commit to tree planting activities in Yunnan province. A gift pack of upcycled t-shirt, totebag, notebook and utensils were made using materials after the exhibition so nothing goes to waste.
TRAVEL RETAIL RETAILTAINMENT SUSTAINABILITY POP-UP
In partnership with China Duty Free Group, Travel Retail launched a “Make Earth Green Again” Pop-Up focused on educating customers on recycling and biodiversity. This resulted in great consumer engagement with registrations more than 25% higher than competitors and engagement rate.
BREWED by L’OCCITANE – GREEN POP-UP in AUSTRALIA
L’Occitane Australia opened the world’s first Cultivators of Change POP-UP “Brewed by L’OCCITANE”. The Refill fountain was highlighted as a centrepiece alongside a TerraCycle museum demonstrating our commitment in reducing and recycling.
COMMUNITY DAY in TAIWAN
Up to 90% of office employees participated in the Sustainable fishing x Beach Cleanup Eco Action day in July. The group learnt about biodiversity by identifying seasonal, local species and using sustainable fishing techniques. The day ended with a beach clean-up!
