Participation Requirements

In order to ensure all participants have an understanding of the Philosophies and Expectations in GMHS athletics, players, coaches, parents and guardians must attend a minimum of one pre-season meeting with the AD and coaching staff prior to the first scheduled contest. Players, parents, and coaches must read, understand, agree to, sign and return the Philosophy and Expectations for Sport - the GMHS Athletic Contract.

As required by the NHIAA and Gorham Middle High School, all participants must have a current physical examination (within one year) for the upcoming year on file with the school.

Any student who has reached the age of 19 on or after September 1st may represent the school in any interscholastic athletic contests during that school year.

In an effort to appropriately recognize senior athletes, all eligible and able seniors should see playing time in their final home game.
