We do have a specific list we work off of that is designed to meet with pt's that have high PHQ2/9 screenings and substance use.  Our goal/role is to help support the ED staff with psych/mental health patients concerning any mental health/dual diagnosis needs not limited to  5150 holds, risk assessments and PHQ 9 screenings, outpatient connections, discharge and aftercare planning, brief therapeutic intervention and pt support while in the ED and awaiting placement.
