What is the purpose of the division?
Correctional services contains officer's ranked within the department who specialize in de-escalation & use of force, the division maintains all detainment services, including the jail & police station. They respond to transport requests assisting patrol officers, removing the long delay to process a detainee.
We trust our officers to prevent riots which are frequently organised within the jail, but also support the inmates complete basic daily needs, since addition, we have seen more response officers available as they are not sat at the jail processing their suspect.

Our prison officers manage databases and services provided within the jail, they are in charge of completing basic, essential department tasks.
Communication
Communication
A vital skill for our officers, is to communicate the needs of prisoners and escalate any threats, they work closely with other branches in the agency.

Secure
Officers based at the jail and other sites are responsible for maintaining and securing the premises, but also ensuring that all risks are analysed.
