Simdroid V2 is a large mod that introduces robotic Sims (called Simdroids) to the game. This mod goes far beyond simply the traditional Discover University robots, it creates an entire robotic life simulation with deep customization, programming systems, and meaningful social interactions.

Inspired by Detroit: Become Human, this mod explores the concept of androids developing consciousness and questioning their programming. The mod allows you to create, program, and develop artificial life forms with their own personalities, relationships, and life paths.

This mod is special because it's a remake of my very first mod from 7 years ago! The Detroit: Become Human inspiration is integrated throughout the deviancy system and the way Simdroids can develop their own personalities beyond their initial programming.

What's Included?

The mod offers a variety of Simdroid models created by Crete Industries, each with different capabilities and characteristics:

• i-460 Model: The classic, original model. Perfect for those who appreciate vintage technology or budget-conscious users. Old robot walkstyle (Requires Discover University)

• T4L0s Model: A more advanced model with enhanced capabilities and improved performance.

• Childdroid (CX-200 Series): Specialized child models designed for family integration and child-rearing. Childroids are made to mimic real children, no LEDs, no red title above their head, ect.

• All adult Simdroids will load into the game with the iconic D:BH glowing LED on their temple. These will change colours with the Simdroid's mood (Un-Deviated Simdroids only have the 'Fine' mood available to them - Simdroids unlock more moods as they deviate.)

NPC Simdroids: The mod includes numerous specialized Simdroid NPCs throughout the world:

• Service Robots: Gardeners, teachers, vets, doctors.

• Entertainment Bots: DJs, camera operators, SFX operators.

• Service Industry: Waiters, baristas, pizza delivery, mailmen.

•  Home Services: Maids, nannies, repairmen, massage therapists.

Note: Not all human sims have been replaced by Simdroids. You will still see some on occassion in these fields!

Simdroids have their own specialized mood and state system that reflects their robotic nature! Simdroids do not age, but you can always cheat age them up.

Deviancy System

The deviancy system is one of the mod's most sophisticated features, directly inspired by Detroit: Become Human. Simdroids can develop their own personalities beyond their initial programming, questioning their purpose and developing consciousness.

Deviancy Mechanics:

• Deviancy Tiers: Multiple levels (1, 2, & 3) with increasing personality development

• Deviation Tracking: The system monitors how much a Simdroid has deviated from their original programming

• Special Moods: Deviant Simdroids receive unique mood states unavailable to regular Sims

• Unique Interactions: Access to special social interactions reserved for deviant Simdroids

Programming System

Available Programming Modules:

• Manual Laborer: Focused on physical work, gardening, and handiness tasks - perfect for maintenance and outdoor activities

• CelebDroid: Entertainment-focused programming for performance and social activities, ideal for creative careers

• Homemaker: Domestic programming for household management, cooking, and family care

• Perfect Partner: Relationship and romantic interaction programming for deeper social connections

Programming Features:

• Reprogramming: Simdroids can be reprogrammed to different modules at any time

• Sensitivity Controls: Temperature and hunger sensitivity can be enabled or disabled as needed

• Module Switching: Easy toggling between different programming modes

Simdroid Mechanic Career

The mod introduces a new career path for Sims, the Simdroid Mechanic career, which focuses on working with and maintaining Simdroids. This career has two branches, allowing players to specialize in different aspects of Simdroid technology.

Branches:

1. Mechanical Mogul

Legitimate business and customer service in the Simdroid sphere.

Career Levels: Tool Runner → Droid Doctor → Mechanics Apprentice → Simdroid Mechanic → Senior Simdroid Mechanic → Chop Shop Supreme → Simdroid Start-up → Franchiser → Simdroid Saivour → Mechanical Mogul.

2. Blackmarket Bio-Magnate

Career Levels: Components Conperson → National Supplier → International Shipper → Market Monopolizer → Blackmarket Bio-Magnate

Social Interactions

The mod includes social interactions specifically designed for Simdroids, offering new ways for them to interact with other Sims.
