The Tiger, the Brahman, and the Jackal

This is probably the most famous tiger story from India. It is about the tiger plans to eat the brahmin who rescued him, until the jackal puts a stop to those plans. You can read some other versions of the story here: The Ungrateful Tiger and The Unmannerly Tiger.
