The Tiger, the Brahman, and the Jackal. In this famous story from India, a tiger shows no gratitude to the brahman who rescues him, and it is up to the jackal to set things right.
Ingratitude. In this story, a crow helps a tiger in distress. But, as the title warns you, the tiger is not grateful for the help.
The Tiger's Bride. This is the story of a woman who gives away her daughter to be the bride of a tiger.
Monkey, Tiger, and Princess. This story is about the quest of a brave young prince to rescue his bride from a tiger.
The Kid and the Tiger. In this story, a little goat manages to defeat seven mighty tigers.
The Lady Tiger-Slayer. This story is about a woman who confronts a tiger and tricks him not once, but twice.
The Barber and the Tigers. In this story, a quick-witted barber manages to outsmart the King of the Tigers.
The Magic Bedstead. The tiger plays only a minor role in this story, but it is such a fun little story that I wanted to include it here!
