Some manuscripts remain private. Others move toward publication. The choice always belongs to the writer.
Organizing fragmented or overwhelming material for readability, not narrative reconstruction
Removing repetition without erasing meaning
Tightening prose while preserving the writer’s voice
Correcting grammar, usage, and sentence-level issues
Removing filler, redundancy, and institutional or academic language
Helping writers reach a finished state instead of endless drafting
Bringing long-running drafts or unfinished manuscripts to editorial completion
Producing a document that can be stored, shared, or archived
Optional paths forward
Preparing manuscripts for private preservation
Preparing manuscripts for limited sharing (family, legal, personal)
Preparing manuscripts for publication (only if the writer wants that)
Publication is optional.
Publication is optional. If publication is of interest, it is discussed only after the manuscript is complete and only at the writer’s request.
Scope and Boundaries
Not counseling or trauma therapy
Not group workshops or public forums
Not pressure to publish or “raise awareness”
Not ghostwriting or rewriting someone’s story into something different from what they lived.
This is editorial work — practical, respectful, and contained.
Survivors who have already written, or attempted to write, their story
People who want their experience recorded clearly and accurately
Writers who want completion, not exposure
Those who value privacy, precision, and control over their work
All work is handled confidentially. Manuscripts remain the property of the writer. Nothing is shared, published, or retained without the writer's explicit agreement.
To have your work considered for editorial support, you may submit a completed or substantially finished manuscript for review.

Fees and Next Steps
Editorial work is priced based on the scope, length, and condition of each manuscript. Some projects involve light structural guidance; others require more extensive editorial organization.
After reviewing a submission or sample, an outline will be provided detailing:
• the level of editorial work recommended
• an estimated timeline
• a clear fee range before any work begins
Projects proceed only after written agreement on scope, timeline, and price.
All submissions are treated as confidential.
Submission does not obligate either party to proceed.
Please do not send material you are not ready to share in written form.
