Family & Personal Histories
Family & Personal Histories
Private Documentation of Life Stories and Family Records
This work focuses on the careful documentation of personal life histories, family stories, and individual records. It is intended for people who want their experiences preserved clearly and accurately — for themselves, their families, or future generations.
These projects are not memoirs for public audiences by default. They are structured records, created with care, discretion, and respect for the individual and the family involved.
Some histories are brief. Others span decades. The scope is shaped by what matters to the person whose story is being recorded.

This is work focuses on preservation, clarity, and completion.
Families who want a parent’s or grandparent’s story recorded
Individuals who want a personal record of their life or experiences
People creating keepsakes for children, grandchildren, or future generations
Those who value privacy, accuracy, and long-term preservation
All work is handled confidentially. Histories remain the property of the individual or family. Nothing is shared, published, or retained without explicit agreement.
Personal and family histories are typically created through phone interviews, scheduled at a mutually agreed time. These interviews are then shaped into a polished written narrative.
Written material is not required to begin. Some clients choose to share notes, documents, pictures or records they already have; others prefer to work entirely through conversation.
