New Look, New Deals, Same Barn You Love!
Cool Weather, Warm Hearts, and Cozy Barn Days!
When the air gets crisp and the holidays roll in, there’s still plenty of excitement at the barn! Our Winter Riding Camp at LJ’s Horse Lessons offers the perfect mix of riding, learning, and winter fun for horse lovers of all ages.
This seasonal favorite keeps riders engaged during the colder months with lessons that focus on improving technique, deepening horsemanship, and building confidence — all while creating a cozy, welcoming barn atmosphere.
What to Expect
Each day of Winter Camp blends skill-building and seasonal fun to make sure every rider leaves with new knowledge and a full heart.
Campers will enjoy:
Daily Riding Instruction: Small-group lessons focusing on control, posture, and precision. Riders will practice fundamentals and even try new techniques under careful guidance.
Groundwork & Winter Horsemanship: Learn to lunge, desensitize, and read horse behavior while working safely in colder conditions.
Seasonal Crafts & Activities: Enjoy creative projects, horse-themed crafts, and barn games to celebrate the winter season.
Education & Barn Care: From feeding and blanketing to understanding seasonal horse care, campers get a true behind-the-scenes look at winter life in the barn.
Confidence & Connection: With smaller groups and a more relaxed atmosphere, riders get even more one-on-one time with their instructor and horses.
Winter Camp is perfect for riders who want to keep learning year-round while having fun in a cozy, community-oriented environment.
