New to the barn? Let’s get to know each other!

Our Introductory Lesson is the perfect way to start your journey at LJ’s Horse Lessons. This one-time session gives new riders the chance to experience what it’s like to work around and ride a horse while getting to know our barn, instructors, and lesson horses. Riders will begin by learning safety basics, grooming, and tacking before moving into mounted instruction that matches their skill level. This lesson helps us assess each rider’s experience and goals, allowing us to tailor future lessons to their needs. It’s a welcoming, low-pressure way to discover the joy of riding and find out if our program is the right fit for you.
