Our Riding Camps at LJ’s Horse Lessons combine hands-on learning, horseback riding, and unforgettable experiences that help riders grow in confidence, teamwork, and horsemanship. Each camp is designed for riders of all experience levels — from first-time beginners to returning students looking to strengthen their skills.

Campers will get the full barn experience — learning how to groom, tack up, and care for horses while participating in group riding lessons, games, and creative activities. Each day is filled with new opportunities to ride, connect, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Summer Riding Camp

Our Summer Riding Camp is the highlight of the season! Campers spend their days learning essential riding and horsemanship skills while enjoying fun barn games, themed activities, and hands-on time with our friendly horses.

Each day includes:

• Group riding lessons tailored to the camper’s skill level

• Horse care lessons (grooming, tacking, feeding, and more)

• Team-building challenges and barn crafts

• Safety-focused instruction in a supportive environment

Winter Riding Camp

Our Winter Riding Camp is a special seasonal favorite that brings riders together during the colder months. This camp focuses on developing stronger riding fundamentals and deepening understanding of horse behavior and care.

Campers will enjoy:

• Indoor and outdoor riding sessions (weather permitting)

• Groundwork and horsemanship lessons
