Sara Greenough
President
Sara has been a member of Living Waters for over 20 years. She has two children, Maria (26) and Henry (22). They both grew up at Living Waters. Throughout the years she has been active in various committees and a host of outreach and church functions.
When asked about why she loves Living Waters she said, “I love the people here. We are a family, and we all take care of each other. As a mission, LW must reach out to others and lead them to a relationship with Jesus. I hope that by being on Council, I can help create opportunities to do this.”
Jackie Braun
Financial Secretary
Jackie retired from a career in accounting and finance in 2023. She and her husband, Mark live in Lino Lakes and enjoy being grandparents to Ian. At church Jackie can be found preparing and helping serve communion, helping with outreach activities, and playing cards on Tuesday mornings and is often behind the camera livestreaming worship.
Jackie loves to travel and enjoys time with friends and family
Michael and his wife Carrie, have two girls and live Lino Lakes. Michael works in marketings and social media. He loves the outdoors and his favorite spot is Glacier National Park.
Laura Couillard
Vice President
Laura is an Electrical Engineer for a local consulting firm. She is the mother of two boys, Alex and Andrew, and wife to Matt. If she had spare time, she enjoys baking, sewing, and reading mysteries. Laura has been a member of LWLC since 2012 and loves the welcoming, family based atmosphere this congregation provides.
Janelle Calhoun
Janelle is a dedicated community advocate and longtime resident of Lino Lakes, Minnesota. A Roseville native and St. Olaf College graduate in Conflict Resolution, her career spans flight safety, mental health pharmaceuticals, financial advising, and nonprofit leadership—most notably as executive director of a cancer research foundation. She ran for Minnesota House District 36A in 2024, focusing on education, healthcare, environmental protection, and civil rights. Janelle and her husband enjoy Lino Lakes’ natural beauty with their two dogs and are active in outdoor pursuits like rock climbing.
Adam is a desing engineer and is married with three boys, ranging in age from 6-11. Adam loves the outdoors and history.
Lisa Brown
Vice President
Lisa joined the council in 2022 after having served on numerous church committees in the past. She is a key leader in our outreach team and coordinates the weekly donation counters.
Lisa is an avid outdoorsperson! From walking her dog, to exploring state and local parks to working in her garden, Lisa is most happy when she is outdoors.
Lisa and her husband live in Circle Pines and have three adult children. Lisa has a heart for service and loves volunteering.
Kris Shields
Kris loves being on council and has served in a variety of capacities since joining the church.
Kris lives in Ramsey, MN. She has 3, grown kids, Shelby, Brittny and Robby. Kris worked for Starbucks for 7 1/2 years and recently started a new job at Carlson Toyota the beginning of February 2024. She loves to travel, bird watch, scrapbook, read and spending time with her kids!!
Kris is active in the Children’s Ministry at Living Waters and can often be found behind the camera recording worship.
Britta leads Sunday School and helps the younger kids in worship with helping light the candles. She has grown up at Living Waters and in her spare time plays the Clarinet and has a part- time job.
Gayle Anderson
Treasurer
Gayle has been a member of Living Waters since 1991. In addition to being Treasurer, Gayle enjoys participating in Bible studies, singing with the Women's Ensemble, tending to the church gardens, coordinating funeral luncheons, and being a worship assistant. Gayle and her husband Keith have 2 children and 6 grandchildren who all live very close by. Newly retired, Gayle is looking forward to spending more time in her garden and baking with her sisters
Steve Yahr
Steve was born and raised in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and is a lifelong Packer fan living in Minnesota! He moved to the Twins Cites to work for Sperry Univac / Unisys / Lockheed Martin for 32 years. His first wife, Susan, passed away in 2009, and they have three girls, Katie, Kjirsten & Lisa. After Susan’s passing, Steve was the Director of the first K-12 Fab Lab in Wisconsin and moved to Three Lakes, WI for 5 years helping students learn in a new way.
In October 2016 He met Carol, at a grief support group, after she had lost her husband to cancer. They married in June 2018 and Steve retired the following year. They moved to Lino Lakes and found a church home at Living Waters. Steve enjoys being outside, either hiking or paddling the lakes in their canoe called Sourdough.
