We welcome people of all abilities and ages to worship, in person and online each Sunday morning at 10:00am.
Worship is at the center of our life at Living Waters and provides us with a starting place to be fed and nourished by the Word of God and the faithful relationships with our siblings in Christ. Here worship is relaxed and welcoming while rooting us in our Lutheran heritage.
We use a variety of worship and music styles throughout the month incorporating Lutheran liturgy with Holy Communion each week. With engaging preaching that connects to daily life and God’s living word, we see how our stories intersect with God’s love and grace.
Our worship services are blessed by a variety of people sharing their gifts through helping with serving communion, reading the lessons, greeting people as they enter the sanctuary and running the sound booth among many other important tasks. We believe that all ages have a place and purpose in worship.
Our children help lead worship each week in a variety of ways.
At the beginning of service they collect quarters and fill their quarter pole. After the pole is full, they get to decide where to donate the funds.
They are invited to participate in the Children’s sermon, help with communion and have the last word as they dismiss the congregation at the end of the service.
We also have a dedicated, quiet play space at the front of sanctuary where the kids can play and color quietly throughout the worship service while learning the rhythms and joys of worship.
Parents, in conversation with the pastor, decide when their children are ready to receive instruction and communion.
Our kids also help with serving communion by holding the baskets to collect the empty cups.
