My Final Thoughts: Overall, my experience in the CAT–ICT Translations class was constructive during these semesters. The course taught me how to use different translation tools and showed me that translations can vary widely or differ by only a few words, depending on the tool I used. One challenge I had this semester while in Canada was that I did not have access to as many CAT tools as my classmates, which slightly limited my learning experience. But other than that, I feel that I learned a lot from these tools and the translation. Overall, I am grateful to have taken it this semester, as it strengthened my translation skills and understanding of technology in translation.
Mis conclusiones finales: En general, mi experiencia en la clase de Traducción CAT-ICT ha sido muy constructiva durante estos semestres. El curso me ha enseñado a utilizar diferentes herramientas de traducción y me ha mostrado que las traducciones pueden variar mucho o diferir solo en unas pocas palabras, según la herramienta que utilice. Uno de los retos a los que me enfrenté este semestre en Canadá fue que no tenía acceso a tantas herramientas CAT como mis compañeros de clase, lo que limitó ligeramente mi experiencia de aprendizaje. Pero, aparte de eso, creo que he aprendido mucho con estas herramientas y la traducción. En general, estoy agradecida por haberlo cursado este semestre, ya que ha reforzado mis habilidades de traducción y mi comprensión de la tecnología aplicada a la traducción.
