2025 Football Games - LCHS BANDFor Each Lion Band Football Game - It takes at least 10 volunteers to make it happen smoothly! We've worked hard to make the service opportunities easy & fun to do! We hope that you will enjoy spending time with your student AND helping the band be successful! All volunteers must have an MISD form on file with the front office. https://www.misd.org/cms/one.aspx?portalId=70144917&pageId=70299270 You can send it with your student or e-mail the front office to make other arrangements. Snacks: (for 120) not-messy dry snacks (chips/pretzels, etc.) to be handed out to the kids after their halftime show. Pleae bring to the band area in the stands before the game, or send with your student to school. Contact the Boosters at lionbandboostersinfo@gmail.com to make other arrangements. Feed the Lions: Away games only. Help with serving pre-ordered meals to the students at the Band Hall before each game. Check back for times as they may vary for each away game. Home Game Chaperones: Arrive to the North Side Entrance 30 minutes before kick-off to meet the "game lead" for your entrance/field badge. Home Game Chaperones are in charge of helping with uniform emergencies, medical issues, handing out snacks, making sure the stands are cleaned up after the game, and any other issues as they arise. Chaperones are expected to remain with the band throughout the game. Chaperones can also help with Pit Crew or Plumes! Away Game Chaperones: Arrive to the Band Hall 30 minutes prior to bus departure to recieve your badge and bus assignments. Chaperones expected to ride the bus and are in charge of helping with uniform emergencies, medical issues, handing out snacks, making sure the stands are cleaned up after the game, and any other issues as they arise. Chaperones are expected to remain with the band throughout the game! Chaperones can also sign up for Pit Crew or Plumes! Pit Crew: Pit Crew helps place props and set up the percussion equipment for the half time show, and may help load the truck with percussion equipment following the half-time show. Pit Crew can also be chaperones! Plumes: Beginning in mid-September the students will begin wearing their uniforms on the field. They will need a few adults to help manage the plumes as the students go onto the field for half-time and return after.
