What you’ll need:
Internet connection
A PC running Windows 7 or later
A USB stick with at least 8GB of space
NOTE: All data on the USB stick will be erased. Make sure there is no important data on it before proceeding.
Please take the USB Stick and plug it in to the PC that you want to create the Installation media at.
NOTE: If you want to do a clean install due to a Malware infection, you should not use the PC that is currently infected, as it might allow the malware to mess with the installation media.
Please download the appropriate tool for the version of Windows you want to create and installation media for:
Windows 10: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Windows 11: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11
Open the just downloaded file.
Allow the execution.
Accept the license terms.
Select "Create an installation media for another PC", then click next.
Select the options you want. To change the options, uncheck the "use recommended settings" checkbox.
You should only do that if you know what you are doing.
Select "USB flash drive".
Select your USB Drive. If you are unsure, check the drive letter in explorer.
WARNING: The next step will delete any data currently on the USB Drive!
Click Next. The tool will download and apply the image to the USB Drive.
Once it's done, close the tool and pull your USB Drive. Done!
