Private and Group ACT Prep
Private and group ACT Prep is offered year-round. Students work on strategies for taking the ACT test, as well as on specific skills/knowledge needed for the various areas of the test. All four areas of the test (English, Math, Reading, and Science) are covered during these sessions (unless students prefer to concentrate on only one or two of the four areas tested).
Individual sessions or small group sessions are scheduled to fit the specific needs of students. Most of these sessions meet in the late afternoon and early evening.
The cost for individual, hour-long sessions is $30. Most students need to meet for 8-12 sessions.
Group Sessions (2 to 5 students) are $50 per hour, split between those participating.
Every May, an Intensive ACT Prep Class is offered. This class meets in the morning for four weeks, beginning with two to three days a week and building to five days on the last week of class. Students receive a total of 36 hours of instruction in preparation for the June ACT test (held the second Saturday in June).
Enrollment for this class begins in April.
Students are asked to purchase two books for all ACT prep classes. Students should always purchase the most current edition available of each of these books.
