Stick Together

According to scientists, fish swim in schools for several reasons.

The most important is that it protects them from predators.

Schools that are packed tightly together appear to predators as one large creature.

This makes it difficult for them to zero in on a single moving target.

Schooling also makes it easier for fish to move about and find food.

Traveling in a group, fish draft in the wake in front of them.

What we can learn from this phenomenon is that there really is safety in numbers.

As you go through life, maintain the support system of your family and friends.

Have a buddy or two when you venture out, and be selective with the company you keep.

Those you travel through life with will inevitably influence where you go

and the kind of person you may become. (S Finelli)
