Tap Into the Wisdom of Your Elders
Think about how much you have learned since you were born.
Bring to mind some of the many places you’ve been to and the people you’ve met that have influenced your life.
Good or bad, the circumstances you find yourself in shape the person you become.
Still, no matter how wise you may be or how much knowledge you may acquire,
it is by no means a match for those of your elders.
Your parents and grandparents have far more experience in life
and the pearls of wisdom they have gathered are both significant and precious.
You’d have to live a long life yourself to gain that kind of insight.
Why not tap into what they know and seek the advice that only they can offer?
You may be surprised to find that your elders know more than you give them credit for.
In fact, they will likely be honored that you asked. (S Finelli)
