Let Hope Guide You
A lighthouse along any shore is a welcoming sight. The towers are built for two main purposes.
One is to warn sailors of dangerous areas and the other to serve as a navigational aid.
Years ago, lighthouses were painted with unique colors
and designs so that mariners could determine their location when at sea.
By night they would look for a lighthouse’s flashing lights.
By referring to these characteristics in a maritime chart,
sailors could determine their position in relation to the shore.
In your life, there will also be beacons of light to guide you.
Your support system of family and friends, your mentors,
and even your faith with shine rays of hope for you to look toward and follow.
Know that you are not alone.
Remain positive that each day will bring the prospect of a new beginning. (S Finelli)
