This was for a school assignment where we had to come up with & create a character that would fit into the world & style of a The Legend Of Zelda game. I chose Marjora's Mask (Specifically the 3ds version) as the game for my model.
For the game Sculpting the Future, I took upon myself the task as Character Designer, where I designed all nine NPCs. This project had Sustainability as its theme, and our Client was ImpactMakers, which follow the 9 Dimensions from CreaTures Framework.
We designed nine NPCs based on the nine dimensions, and tried to follow the existing Creatures as well as possible, while also giving the NPCs personalities that would match the dimensions they're representing.
so i designed this character for holy, and the design process was fairly straightforward; i had made a sticker in the game Sticky Business and wanted to make a 3d model version of it.
Cyan is my first proper D&D character who I've been playing since... January 2021...
However, this does mean that I've had a bunch of iterations for his character.
The concept started with the idea of 'wouldn't it be cool if I could play a Firbolg Monk', in a story set in the world of Exandria (from Critical Role). So he became a nephew of one of the existing characters, and from there he's become his own character.

For his clothes I knew I wanted to go for some muted/desaturated earthy colors, since he's very in touch with nature. Also flowy clothes since he practices martial arts, and he needs to be able to move around.
He started off with an open vest to be able to show off his top surgery scars because he's proud of those, but later in the story he died through a stab wound in the chest (don't worry, he got better), and the scar that left him with made him insecure & wanting to hide his chest.

So, these two guys are original characters I designed based on the Ace Attorney franchise. They are characters who would be part of the band 'the Gavinners' and have funny pun names. Alda is the keyboard player, while Daisy is a guitarist.

For the design process me (and a friend) decided some key elements; what should the characters be like?

We wanted Alda to be "Bit of a little shit, can be bratty, very kind, ADHD, cat energy", with red/fire motifs being the main energy. To accentuate the 'annoying brat' energy i also made him shorter, because we all know that in short people the annoying energy is more condensed and therefore stronger.

For Daisy, we wanted more "Dog energy, big brother vibes, hopelessly in love with Alda but he's oblivious", with blue & space motifs.
I wanted to create a fursona that felt representative of myself. First I came up with the Hyena guy to the left, and then also with the anteater guy on the right.
