In this project, students learned the principals of Stop-Motion animation and produced a short film with LEGO. This film was a "prequel" to a different short film that other students of mine produced the year before.

For this project, I led a global collaboration where I connected with teachers around the world through the power of Twitter and FlipGrid to produce a global education project called Star Wars On Recorder. Elementary music students from around the world were challenged to learned high level pieces of music, (the Star Wars "Main Theme" and "Imperial March") and submitted a recording of themselves playing in front of a green screen for me to assemble the final product.

In this project, students learned the art of "Compositing" in filmmaking, the same technique all blockbuster movie makers use to digitally give super heroes their powers in movies.
In this weekly extra curricular, students learned how to develop a Student News program and develop a weekly broadcast to be shared with all students and families.
Students learn to produce music using professional software, Logic Pro X. They have the option to produce fully unique creations, or attempt to reproduce their favourite song.
In this project, students take their music productions, and develop a visual story they can to match their music, then create their own music video to go with their music.
In this project, grade 5 students were working on a Narnia novel study project, where each student learned an excerpt from the story, made art relating to that story, and, as a culminating activity, acted out their scene.
