I have worked with dozens of students in the past 18 years on research. And I am always ready to assist student exploration of Earth in any way I can. I owe a great deal to these students for involving me in these diverse projects--I have enjoyed the discovery and learning process immensely!
The projects range from Martian surface processes to measuring dinosaur tracks and trackways in great detail, to probing archaeological sites in floodplains with ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic induction profiling, to sampling lake sediment to get a proxy record for floods and climate in NY, to monitoring local rivers and hillslopes for landslides and mass movements with high tech photogrammetry.
The table at the bottom of this page provides a summary of students, projects, and at some point in the future, links to their finished products.
