Oh waahhh! Google stopped supporting Fusion Tables. I haven't had the time to try to convert the tables below into something that works. And it may be a moot point. Macrostrat.org has a really great interface for the WHOLE WORLD!
Here's to my students (Leland Cohen and Joe Spaulding) who worked on getting geology GIS data into Google Fusion tables to provide a relatively simple interface to access, filter, and explore the bedrock and surficial geology of New York. The data were taken from NY State Museum's GIS data. Maps are at 1:250,000. Here are the links to those maps. Oh, those links don't work.
