ANATOMY AND ARTS
LEONARDO THE PAINTER
LEONARDO THE PAINTER
Probably Leonardo's first and real passion, painting represents the interpretation of man and life for the genius from Florence.
In fact, Leonardo's anatomy studies were meant to acquire accurate and detailed knowledge in order to better reproduce reality, especially the human body in its most vivid details.
We consider here two among the most famous paintings by Leonardo: The Lady with an Ermine (1488-1490) and the Mona Lisa (1503).
