Sorcerer's of the Legacy

Right near the entrance to Mythical Dreams sits a wizard's tower built into some rockwork. The tower seems to be crumbling with umbrellas used to plug holes in the ceiling. Despite this, flashes of colorful lights can be seen emanating from the higher parts of the tower and occasional blasts of steam and odd noises. All implying that something mystical is going on inside. A sign sits out front with a mysterious crest and a message saying "Heroes Needed" beckoning guests inside to discover the magical home of Merlin! He is looking for help to fight off Hades and his army of Disney villains. Are you up to the challenge?
This is the hub for Sorcerer's of the Legacy, a sequel/successor to Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom. Guests can collect trading cards (the original 70 cards plus the party exclusive ones still work here, but other than rare surprise reprints for collectors sold as bonus packs they will not be given out with there being a new set of 40 cards created) and then use them to battle the Disney Villains at Magic Portals set up throughout the World of Fantasy.Â
While the story is simple and very similar to the original, it is a follow up featuring new animation. Hades wants revenge for his loss last time and Merlin needs a new batch of brave sorcerers to carry on the Legacy of the Hero of the Magic Kingdom! The gameplay is still very simple (Get a free pack of spell cards and your key that tracks your progress from the hub, go to portals scattered around, use your key to activate them, use your spells to fight villains, repeat until the world is save), yet guests can still ask for a higher difficulty which will require more strategy when choosing which cards to use to attack. The game is also streamlined so it now takes up less time to do the whole the story. Instead of the 8 different villains each with multiple stages to their story scattered across the entire park needing to be defeated before you can head to the finale, there will now only be 3 villains (all in World of Fantasy) before the final battle. Reducing this from an all day experience to a much more accessible 1-2 hours to see it all on the lower difficulty.
