World of Fantasy

"Here You Leave Today And Enter The World Of Yesterday, Tomorrow And Fantasy"
These immortal words welcome guests into Disneyland. They encapsulate Walt Disney's vision for his park and promise a fantastical journey for all who visit the happiest place on earth. When Disneyland and Magic Kingdom were new, "Fantasy" was not just castles and princesses, but rather a collection of the wildest dreams of the children and families visiting! Driving a motorcar with Mr. Toad, running away with the circus, climbing aboard a pirate ship, exploring fathoms below in submarines, and even world peace were possible in this land.
The World of Fantasy will return to this classic viewpoint of what "Fantasy" can be; creating a realm of wish fulfilment and over the top excitement rather than relying solely on magic and royalty as is the modern style of Fantasyland. Although, don't worry, there's still plenty of enchantment to find for those who seek it!
From the legendary international adventures in the Mythical Dreams sub-land, to the fun yet reverent natural space in the Wild Dreams sub-land, to the wacky world of creativity and modern storytelling mixed with the glamour of stardom in the Hollywood Dreams sub-land! All these areas are tied together by Fantasy Lagoon with Maelstrom Mountain right at the center. The land feels alive and in motion as on the lagoon guests can see the Phantom Boats sail, Captain Nemo's subs explore, the Skyway buckets soar above, the Maelstrom boats peak out the edge of the mountain as they nearly fall back over the falls, the bronze King Triton statue shooting water from his trident, live actors portraying Mer-folk relaxing on a rock, The Fountain of Light spraying water while shining lights, and the Woodchuck Rush outdoor family coaster whizzing by the water's edge. All giving this land great kinetic energy and making the chaotic collection of attractions feel like a cohesive whole.
Come and explore the World of Fantasy!
(Layout map created using ScribbleMaps. Placements are not exact, but this demonstrates that sizes of attractions are accurate and based on real world measurements to the best of my ability)
This land will try to balance both ticket levels of the attractions as well as sources of inspiration to give a varied and well balanced experience that pay tribute to as much of Disney's history as possible
