Colourblocks was first greenlit in March 2020 alongside Wonderblocks. The first series was in production until 2022, the show premiere year. Colourblocks first premiered on the 12th of September, 2022. Making this the only Learningblocks show to not premiere in January. Colourblocks Series 1 ended on the 10th of February, 2023. In October of the same year, the Learningblocks 4 year output plan was announced, greenlitting the second series of the show, which premiered on the 12th of February, 2024 and ended on the 29th of the same month. As of July 2024, Colourblocks Series 3 is in production.
