Indian Medical Association is the only representative, national voluntary organization of the Doctor of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors and the well-being of the community at large. IMA aims to promote and advance medical and allied sciences in all their different branches and promote improving public health and medical education in India. To fulfill this objective, IMA launched 2 years Diploma program for different paramedics to bridge the gap between skilled professionals in the healthcare ecosystem. In 2019 Learnet Skills received affiliation for Diploma in Dialysis Technician, OT Technician, and X-Ray Technician in Delhi and Assam.
The primary job of a DT is to operate dialysis equipment to perform dialysis on patients with acute or chronic kidney failure effectively and efficiently. They work under the supervision of physicians and nurses, primarily in hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers/ facilities, some nursing homes, and long-term care facilities. They are also responsible for operating, cleaning, and sterilizing the dialysis machines.
