System Specifications are the technical descriptions of a computer's components.
Single-core CPUs process one instruction at a time while multiple-core CPUs process several instructions at once.
A processor's clock speed determines how fast it can process instructions. Clock speed is usually measured in gigahertz (GHz).
A 2.4 GHz processing speed can perform 2.4 billion instructions in 1 second.
For computer programs to run smoothly, sufficient memory (RAM) must be installed.
Secondary storage is used to keep programmes indefinitely (for a long time).
Additional secondary storage can be purchased (bought) to store files and data.
When purchasing a computer, it is important to consider the display screen:
Screen size (measured diagonally in inches)
Screen resolution (measured length x breadth in pixels) | Example : 1920 pixels x 780 pixels
Touch input or otherwise
