A Diverse set of activities will be deployed including: workshops with professors for the development of digital OER materials and curricular interventions, boot camps and virtual/hybrid exchanges for students, and broad dissemination of the activities. The project will produce a White Paper with situational mapping and recommendations for enhancing the teaching and learning about circular economy. It will also develop a digital repository of OER materials related to a circular economy as a core outcome for future use and development, enhance academia-industry linkages and University linkages (MoU) in the region and organize activities with students to develop a circular economy mindset.

The Leaders of the Green Economy team members carried out research dedicated to expanding the knowledge of the students about the circular economy by conducting a student survey as well as mapping the curriculum according to the given criteria as to where the topics of green economy and sustainability would be most suitable for undergraduate students.

WP 3: Activities with students
On June 28th EFRI, University of Rijeka officially opened the Bootcamp in Rijeka 2023 with an introductory presentation about their University where the students had an icebreaking session in order to get to know each other.
On the first day of the Bootcamp the Leaders of the Green Economy (LGE) participants had the opportunity to visit Ponikve eko otok Krk DOO and learn more about the work they do.
The company was founded in 1960 with the basic activity of water production and distribution. From the foundation until today, the headquarters of the company is located in Krk. Main activities of the company are water supply, waste management, drainage and energetics. Through its operations, the Company implements energy programs of the independent Island of Krk with aim to achieve 0% emissions greenhouse gases. The company is very active in the field of collecting, separating and purifying of waste water, sustainable energy and marine environment.
We would like to thank Ponikve eko otok Krk for their heartwarming welcome and all the effort they put into what they do. The lesson was very useful and educative for the students.

On the second day of the Bootcamp in Rijeka, the students were invited to visit the premises of the Faculty of Economics and Business (EFRI) of the University of Rijeka where they attended a lesson about the Decarbonization path in the EU – Carbon Footprint by Barbara Fajdetić, MsEco. The students were reminded of the importance of minimizing their carbon footprint and how crucial it is for the planet.
We would like to thank Ms. Fajdetić for her amazing and educative presentation.
Following Ms. Fajdetić's presentation the students who were previously provided case studies about the company Ponikve Krk, offered their feedback and valuable and creative suggestions for overcoming the stated issues in the case studies.
To complete the day two activities after the official part, all of the participants were invited to a sightseeing tour of Rijeka where they got the chance to learn more about the Croatian culture and traditions, but also enjoy the breathtaking sea view and architectural history of the city.
On the 30th of June the Bootcamp 2023 had come to an end which is why the international team of the Leaders of the Green Economy- Erasmus+ project would like to thank EFRI, University of Rijeka for their successful organization of the Bootcamp. The students and project partners had a lovely time networking and sharing amazing moments together, while learning about the circular economy, sustainability, carbon footprint, and how it feels to be a student in Rijeka, Croatia.

University of Ruse, Angel Kanchev (URAK) Student Session held by Professor Svilen Kunev
On October 25th, our dear partner university University of Ruse-Angel Kanchev , from the Faculty Department of Management and Social Sciences hosted an enlightening student session workshop on '26,000 Audit Cards as a Tool for Ethical & Green Business.'
In this thought-provoking session, students from various institutions came together to explore the crucial role of these audit cards in promoting Corporate Social Responsibility. The discussions revolved around how organizations can operate in an ethical and transparent manner while contributing to a greener economy.

DOBA Business School Student Session by Professor Rogier TenKate
On October 30th, we had the privilege of hosting the brilliant Professor Rogier TenKate from Durham College at a special student session in collaboration with our dear partner university, DOBA Business School.
Professor TenKate took us on an eye-opening journey through the stages of effective problem solving, the challenge of system capacity, the urgency of Earth Overshoot Day, the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the concept of designing regenerative cultures. But that's not all! We also learned about how to lead a market transformation process towards a sustainable future.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Rogier for sharing his invaluable insights and knowledge with us. It's been an enlightening experience that will undoubtedly shape our path towards a more sustainable future. University American College Skopje panel student session led by Professor Elena Bundaleska
University American College Skopje, a proud partner university in the Erasmus+ project 'Leaders of the Green Economy,' hosted a dynamic student session on December 4th led by Professor Elena Bundaleska on the topic 'Being Responsible While Doing Business.' Professor Bundaleska was joined by the guest speakers from Pivara AD Skopje and Sparkasse Bank.
The session was an immense success, the students were interactively engaged in the panel and insightful discussion unfolded.

"Green economy: using case studies for teaching and research in an interdisciplinary environment"
On November 23, 2023 (Thursday), a workshop was held on the topic: "Green economy: using case studies for teaching and research in an interdisciplinary environment" under the Leaders of the Green Economy project.
The head of the project, Assoc. Dr. Svilena Ruskova, together with Assoc. Dr. Irina Kostadinova, showed the main results achieved under the individual work packages. Assoc. Dr. Svilen Kunev presented a methodology for working with cases and gave an example with a specific case study developed for the needs of the project.
Participants in the event were representatives of 15 departments from all faculties of Ruse University "Angel Kanchev".
The project team consists of: Assoc. Dr. Svilena Ruskova (project manager for RU); Prof. Dr. Diana Antonova; Prof. Dr. Daniel Pavlov; Prof. Dr. Svilen Kunev; Assoc. Dr. Irina Kostadinova and Dr. Ana Todorova.
