Boo At The Zoo

LCA classes, Chemistry and Forensics, went on a trip to the St Louis Zoo’s event, Boo at the Zoo on October 26. Once the group arrived, they went around the park looking at a variety of different animals while trying to solve a mystery made by the high school science teacher, Miss. McAndrew. The first few animals we saw were the bears, and then we walked past the penguins. The group went through all the areas seeing most animals awake (which wasn't something common at the zoo since most animals hide) The animals made the trip really fun, especially when the group saw both the male lion and his lioness sleeping next to each other, which was really cute.
The group eventually saw more adorable animals before the habitat sections of the zoo closed for the night. They left the park to go to Fitz's for dinner. The food and ice cream floats were amazing! On the way back to the zoo, my mind was blown when I learned that Big Hero 6 was actually a marvel comic, aside from that the class went back to look at the penguins where they splashed a good half of the group making them smell like fish for the rest of the night. At some point the group went to the dinosaur area and then the insect area as well. Eventually they walked into a group of people surrounding a bubble machine that made the bubbles have smoke inside, so when the bubbles popped the smoke was released. After a good 20 minutes of popping bubbles they made their way to the stingray aquarium to pet them and have fun. The sting rays were quite nice and loved to be pet, including the really really big ones. After that everyone was ready to go, so they all got hot chocolate and coffee and left the park. Finishing the day well, everyone went home ready to sleep.
