Los Angeles Valley College’s dual enrollment program provides opportunities for high school students to take college-level courses for free and earn credit toward high school completion and a college degree. Courses are taught by LAVC Instructors either at high schools, virtually, or as a combination of both. Our team is committed to identifying appropriate career academic pathways, workforce opportunities, and providing inclusive instruction to students who have previously experienced barriers to higher education.
In order to take a Los Angeles Valley College Dual Enrollment course, you must first apply to LA Valley College via CCCApply.
Completing the LA Valley College application will give you an LACCD Student ID number, which you will need to enroll in your courses and access your Student Portal.
1-7 business days after you submit your LAVC Application, you will receive an Acceptance Letter email from noreply@email.laccd.edu that will include your LACCD Student ID Number, beginning with 88 or 90. You will need this ID number to complete and submit a K-12 Form.
A K-12 Form is a required part of the Dual Enrollment Application.
The final step to register for a Dual Enrollment course is to log into your Student Portal (SIS) and enroll in the class. You will use your LACCD Student ID to log into your Student Portal.
You will receive an email from notify@ngwebsolutions.com notifying you that your K-12 form was processed by Admissions and Records. Once you receive this email, you will be able to enroll in your LAVC course.
Your class may be in-person at your high school, online via Zoom, or a combination of both! Your high school counselors will let you know what format your Dual Enrollment course will follow.
