Laura M. Hair has an extensive exhibition history throughout southern Ontario. Her artwork has also been exhibited in the United States, Mexico and China. Laura completed an Artist Residency at the Visual Arts Centre of Clarington and received the Executive Director’s Artist Recognition Award. She is a former instructor for the Media Art and Design School of Durham College and Arts Infused Learning-curriculum based projects within the Durham District School Board. Laura also taught at The Arts Resource Centre, Oshawa, The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington, The Station Gallery, Whitby and The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa. She is a founding member of the IRIS Group, a collective of Durham Region artists, curators, instructors and writers who promote art awareness through interactive workshops and exhibits.
