Students can earn activates in variety of ways. Students can participate in fundraisers, attend monthly chapter meetings, participate in community service opportunities, attend monthly barn clean ups, compete on CDE or LDE teams, specified community events and more.

If you are a new livestock exhibitor you and your parent must attend the mandatory fair exhibitor meeting held at the beginning of the school year (usually September). At the meeting you will learn about all the expectations and rules. The date of the meeting changes year to year so make sure to listen in class and look out for posting on social media about meeting information.
Yes, you must participate in at least two FFA activities a quarter and have an active SAE project. In the State of California it is a requirement that all students enrolled in an Ag class must be actively involved in the FFA and have an active SAE project.
