The Hack Club is dedicated to providing an inclusive, beginner friendly space for those interested in hackathons. Hackathons are exciting online and in-person competitions where students engage in collaborative engineering to achieve a certain goal, oftentimes making applications. In order to prepare club members for these competitions, leaders of the Hack Club will present weekly slideshows exploring various topics such as the basics of HTML and CSS and advanced app development tools.
Beyond hackathons, the Hack Club will host workshops where club members can build projects and strengthen confidence in their coding skills. Interested in joining or learning more? Contact an officer representative to learn how you can get started on your first hackathon!
P.S. Submitting your projects built in the club can earn you free boba and other sweet rewards from the official Hack Club organization!
