An online multiplayer tennis game based around the gravity of planets.
Galactic Tennis is an online multiplayer 2D tennis fully functional game prototype made in Unity using Photon Unity Networking (PUN). This game was developed over the course of 3 months during the summer break of 2021 together with a game artist student Dion Peek.Â
This project started off when the artist wanted to test out Photon in a test project. I programmed most of the game's logic and networking. We did the design and UI together and kept iterating the game to make it feel and play better by doing a lot of playtests. I also did some post processing effects which gives the game a retro look using URP.
Galactic Tennis got nominated for the audience choice award in the Rogue Jam of 2021!
