Rules and Procedures

Rules

• No cell phone or personal electronics
• Treat each other with respect.
• Treat the classroom & computer equipment with care.
• No food or drinks

Procedures

• Sign-in when entering the classroom.
• The daily agenda, objectives and and a start up activity will be posted on the projection screen.
• Start reviewing the daily agenda and working on the start-up activity.
• Absent: Complete make-up work outside of class.
• Tardy: Sign-in and participate in the current class activity.
• The teacher needs class attention when the classroom lights go out or the teacher raises his or her hand.
• Students will raise their hands to get attention to make comments, ask questions or to ask for a hall pass.
• Hall passes are hanging by the door for use after making a request.
• The teacher will lead a short discussion related to the start-up exercise.
• The teacher will go over the agenda, objectives and demonstrate tools and strategies related to the days activities.
• Students will create one or more short projects during each class.
• Students will document their daily progress in journals, and save a digital version of their journal entry.
• Documents must be saved in Google drive and on a flash drive.
• Students will return computers and other materials to where they came from before leaving class.
• Students will sweep the floor, wipe down the tables and throw away trash.
