Lara's ICT PLE

Hi there! Welcome to my Personal Learning Environment! My name is Lara Procaccini, I’m 22 years old, and I’m a student at the teacher training college. Currently, I’m attending Methods 1, discourse analysis, Language 3 (send help pls!!) and of course, ICT in ELT.

As regards my teaching experience, in 2022 I had my first job as a teacher in a school of English, which was a wonderful experience, but unfortunately, I had to quit because of the high commuting time. In 2023, I started delivering private lessons, both in-person and online, and currently I am still doing so, plus I’m working for an online school of English, mainly with adult learners.

Back in 2020, with the pandemic, technology took center stage in many areas, including education. Some of the tools used back then are nowadays present as well, e.g. google classroom, google meet, zoom, editing tools, collaborative documents, among others.

From this subject, I expect to learn about new technology tools/devices, and how to properly apply them in the English language lessons. Specially, with the heyday of Artificial Intelligence, I would like to know how to critically deal with it. 

 The purpose of this PLE is to share the projects and takeaways from the subject Information and Communication Technology in English Language Teaching, attended at INSPT UTN in 2025 with the teacher Paula Ledesma.
