Stage 2
Great, now that you have your topic and your group, you will work with the following activities:
4) Retrieve information - part 1
Each team will be assigned one article (see the list below) and you will receive a copy where you should, individually, write three questions that you believe can be answered with the main ideas from the article. Then, you will compare your questions with your team members and decide the three most important ones. After that, you will re-read the article and answer them as a group. This information is the one you should include in your infographic.
Pollution
This is your article: What is pollution? By University of Maryland
Climate change
This is your article: Climate change by National geographic
Deforestation
This is your article: Deforestation by National Geographic
Waste
This is your article: Waste generation and management by Sustainability for all
5) Retrieve more information!
After you have read and worked with the previous articles, check the following instagram posts. Your task will be to identify one or two facts that were not mentioned in the articles to add to your presentation. Take down notes, since next class you will create your infographic, and you will have to include this information.

If the articles/ Instagram posts contain words or expressions you do not know, you can check definitions in Cambrigde online dictionary or Longman online dictionary.
