LAH 2.0

29 Lebuh Melayu was another challenge for the LAH community entirely. Here they had to renovate the whole house before anyone could move, and continued renovations throughout living there and throughout workshops and events. Every surface had to be scrubbed, walls had to be painted again and again, and termite wood needed to be ripped out. It was one hell of a job! Sadly it proved, after 9 months, to be too big of a job for the team so they decided to cut their losses and move on to pastures new. The memories of the work will be here though, and this was truly a glorious time for LAH as it was the height of workshops, activities, exhibitions and art residencies.
